EXPLANATION

“MIL’s interlocking design offsets the layouts effectively enabling higher densities to exist. This is due to the total offset area of each unit enabling enhanced mathematical computations over traditional layouts as the shape will provide the habitable requirements (rooms/stairs) using a smaller surface area whilst not compromising living space, building guidelines, or structural integrity. Typically this provides a 10% increase in density over traditional footprints, there is a potential to increase up to 20% higher densities with MID to High-Rise developments. This layout enables the rationalisation of services and makes it a more cost efficient construction. The concept also provides exceptional structural integrity, seamless integration of walkways at the front, and spacious balconies to the rear. MIL Housing is dual aspect design with a high degree of aesthetics."

HIGH-RISE

MIL high-rise housing offers a modular apartment complex fully catering to the developer and planner vision, needs and requirements.

LOW-RISE

MIL Interlocking Design and Central Core features can also be easily applied to low-rise terrace housing, providing the same high quality standards of living. The inclusion of a dormer attic can also be applied and all services (including stairs) can be added easily and when needed, what we call “Space+ living” effectively offering potential for a dormer apartment within one’s home which would appeal to new buyers as they could avail of €14,000 tax-free benefit.
